It is our pleasure to welcome Curtis Runstedler, Ph.D., to our chair. For this summer term, he will join us as a postdoctoral fellow. Mr. Runstedler specializes in late medieval and early modern literature, particularly the role of alchemy and exemplary narrative. He will also teach two seminars about these topics:

HS: The Classical and the Medieval in the Moral Universe of John Gower
and
PS II: Alchemical Imagery in Late Medieval and Early Modern Literature
